Welcoming Maja Avdic to the BE Basketball Family!

At BE Basketball, community has always come first. For eight incredible years, Alyson has been the steady voice and guiding hand behind our customer experience, supporting families, players, and coaches with care and professionalism. Her contribution to BE has been immense, and we are truly grateful for the legacy she leaves behind.

As we step into the next chapter of our journey, we are delighted to welcome Maja Avdic as our new Customer Experience Manager.

Maja brings a strong background in customer support, academy operations, system management, and marketing. Having worked across multiple organizations in both customer-facing and backend roles, she understands how to balance communication, structure, and efficiency, all essential to maintaining the high standards our BE families are accustomed to.

Originally born in Bosnia and raised in Canada from the age of 10, Maja has now been living in Qatar for the past decade. Her international perspective, combined with her experience working within academy environments, makes her a natural fit for our diverse and growing community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the outdoor lifestyle Doha offers, especially beach days.

Over the past week, Maja and Alyson have already been working closely together to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Systems have been aligned, processes reviewed, and communication standards maintained so that our families continue to experience the consistency and clarity they expect.
