As you all know, BE Basketball has had a historic season this year, but we’re not the only ones making history in the basketball world.
Just as our season approaches its conclusion, the biggest basketball league on the planet has reached its final stage.
Yes, we’re talking about the NBA Finals!
Twenty-seven years after their last Finals meeting, the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks are set to battle once again for the NBA Championship.
One of the league’s most iconic franchises takes on a team renowned for its toughness, consistency, and rich basketball tradition.
Leading the Spurs is Victor Wembanyama, one of the NBA’s brightest young superstars. Alongside him, San Antonio brings its trademark discipline, teamwork, and tactical approach to the game.
Standing in their way are the New York Knicks, led by “Captain Clutch” himself, Jalen Brunson. Known for their physicality, versatility, and relentless competitiveness, the Knicks will be determined to bring a championship back to New York.
With so much on the line, we asked our BE Basketball coaches for their predictions on this clash of titans.
Coach Ben and Coach Ed both believe the Spurs will lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy, winning the series in six games.
Coach Ratoul and Coach V also favour San Antonio but predict the series will go the distance and be decided in Game 7.
Coach Julia, however, sees things differently and believes the Knicks will celebrate a championship victory in six games.
