This month BE BASKETBALL proudly announced that Paris Koranis š¬š· was named the first ever #BE_CHEVY Player of the Season, exactly one year after he completely broke his collar bone!
Paris (who just turned 13 years) is a determined, passionate, humble and very hard working student-athlete who was presented with the prestigious award in front of over 80 BE Family Members at the āNothing but PLAY" Basketball Festival.
Since September 2018, Paris has dedicated himself to working out privately with Coach Ben twice a week, whilst also attending the ASD After School Program, the U13s Elite Team, the U15s Elite Team, Open Gym sessions at ASD and also giving back to the minis program as a passionate volunteer!
While maintaining all this basketball activity, Paris has also consistently improved his school class scores and is now in advanced Math. And even managing a private language class before assisting at BE BASKETBALL every week!
His enthusiasm to improve his own game while also raising the standards of others around him is something truly special.
Voted in the first ever Doha Basketball Junior League as a Mythical 5 Player (Best 5 players of the entire tournament), Paris has also competed against the Qatar National Team several times this season and played a vital part in the BE BASKETBALL team victories!
Whatās even more remarkable is that on this day last year, Paris completely broke his collar bone while playing basketball and now one year later, he is deservedly presented with this special award.
