BE Return to the Jr-NBA and Jr-WNBA this month at QF!

This NBA initiative global league, is back in Doha for Season 2, and 3 BE BASKETBALL teams are participating! All game will be housed at Qatar Foundation who is organizing this event on behalf of the NBA.


Last season our boys U14 team finished top 8 out of 20 teams, and our girls team, finished 2nd, losing in the championship game.


This year there are 2 age categories, which means more teams involved for both boys and girls.


Category U14 

* Boys 24 Teams

* Girls 16 Teams

 

Category U12 

* Boys 20 Teams

* Girls 10 Teams


This is a total of 70 school/academy teams with 850+ players! Incredible experience for the basketball community here in Doha, leading up to the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2027.


The draft is scheduled for 17th of April 2025 and the 7-week league kicks off from 18th of April through 31st of May 2025.


All participants in the girls' teams will automatically be enrolled in the “Her Time to Play” skills clinic on 18th and 19th of April and 30th and 31st of May. Here every female player will receive expert coaching, develop their skills, and enjoy a fun-filled experience designed to empower and inspire young female athletes.






There will also be a Youth Clinic on the 16th of April and 29th of May provided by the NBA.
